de Havilland Beaver Kit
Hello.
I have seen a few examples of the de Havilland Beaver and have been unable to find a quality kit to build. I fly all electrics and would like one with a wing span in the 40 - 60 inch range for transport reasons. Does anyons have information on a quality full or short kit available in the USA? Oldie but goodie
You might advertise for a vintage Berkeley kit...Theirs was 48" and very scale.
It may be a little 'heavy' for you,but electrics were non-existent at the time,and the then current engines were becoming very potent. |

The name escapes me, but there is a Canadian company that manufactures kits of this airframe.
I know little about them, but they have been in business for a long time. Since they've been around so long, I would assume that they produce a quality product. Found the name, just below, in the "similar threads" section. The Company's name is Unionvillle Hobbies. http://www.greathobbies.com/search/r...srchvendor=UVH I know that you said U.S., but I believe this to be your easiest to locate, in your requested size range. |

Pat Tritle has a design in the works for a 60" version of the Beaver. Do not know when he will have the design complete, but it might be worth waiting for.

There's a "complete -a-pak" kit for sale in the classifieds ,72" 40-60 size.
A little larger than you asked for, but there it is ! |

Thanks Epoxyearl but alas it is bigger than I am looking for. I contacted Pat Tritle co. about the rumor and he responded that "yes" there is a 60 inch kit nearly ready so I'm going to wait for that.... Excited...
