Not on yours, but my FC will be installed on standoffs above the circular area of the frame as I'm sure others will be too. The plate would just give it some protection in case of an inverted crash. The v-tail will naturally give it some protection since it wouldn't lay flat if inverted like most quads, but still I'd like to have a plate on there. Plus it would give a better appearance IMO because you'd see a nice decorative plate instead of the bare FC.

This may be a dumb question but is the Naza FC capable of flying a V-tail?

You guys are killing me....just saw this thread. I am assuming for my purposes the 600mm round boom Blackwidow is my better bet with the load it's carrying, but the fact that you choose to haunt me with more gorgeous designs BEFORE my first black widow arrives is just mean

I really like your canopy design! Sign me up for one as well. May I suggest that it attaches with neodymium magnets? Quite inexpensive and holds very well.
