Here's a Brunel Alpha oscillating marine steam engine I've had for many years but never installed. Ran it on compressed air through the oiler just to see if it worked.
Bore: 5/8", Stroke: 1"
Weight: 3 lbs 12 oz
Has a reversing lever.
Construction: Mostly bronze, some brass, aluminum base.
Requires a pretty big boiler.
Made by a talented machinist (not me!) from the Brunel castings kit. He even gave me the blueprint.

It's fascinating to see all the similarity and variations amonst these styles of engines. Amazing levels of work go into them. It's a beauty.

Be VERY afraid of ordering from Brunel models in the UK. There are many horror stories attached to trying to get service from them.

I have never dealt with them, but they do list the engine castings;
You mite do better to see if Ed will load/sell you the drawings.
