Well finally got around in finishing the DF-380. Very easy built and I did have a small decal issue with them peeling off. I use a sealant over them to fix it. All out weight is 24gr that's with the 150 battery. Yes I did get the prop on right so don't fret over it LOL. Will maiden it tomorrow if the weather is nice.

Nice job. Mine came out at 24g, also.

Sour weather here thanks to Issac oh well when it blows over and things improve I'll get her out of the hangar and maiden her. I think that's the normal weight 24g, I used thin CA glue and spot in along the parts.
Got your message Bert thanks for making the adjustments on the XB-70 and hopefully it will work. I'm thinking two 30mm will be more than enough thrust !!!!!

Finally had some time to work on my DF-747-8.

Here is how she's looking. Sitting below my 1:200 desktop model. Still got a few decals to add such as Boeing logo and Intercontinental logo. Exhausting effort!

Hopefully I can make the 24g avg for this other big boy (comparing with DF-A380).

I would say they kinda are, the similarities? Look at a plane from the side or the top and it looks like a plane (a paper plane from the top view kinda looks like concord) but look at either type from to nose or tail view and it's just a bunch of horizontal/vertical line an looks nothing like a plane.

Now that is cool!! The 380 airframe is 1 gram more than the 747.

They are similar to the classic White Wings paper gliders. Anyone else remember wasting countless hours building these only to get them stuck on rooftops?

now i think i need to pick up some of those as well xD

LMAO@ stuck on rooftop! Been there done that! Just last month, my ten year old was playing with a free flight set that has F18, F16, SU27 among others and got one stuck on roof and two into the 'not so friendly' neighbors yard. We got the one off the roof. The other two are visible, but are MIA, as they were lost over enemy airspace.
