What do you think about a carbon tube over the coax to keep it straight? It shouldn't change anything significantly, right?

All the information on making a windmill is over here. I made a 1280 one last month and it works great.

Hugo,

for Ground use (Summit) will a "V" work ok on the truck (vidTx)?
or shall I use the original (stock) 1.2ghz Lawmate VidTx antenna that came with it?

am planning on using BiQuad on VidRx from RMRC.

I have a question about fastening the antenna to a surface. I use 910mhz fans on a flying wing, it is mounted slightly above the surface. I see two options here: leave it glued only at the coax, and the antenna to flop around, touching the laminate at one or two places; (even though it's stiff, the 100km/h wind makes it flop around no matter what) or, place dabs of hot glue at 3 to 5 outside lower corners to prevent it wobbling around. Which is better?

You can use glue, on 900Mhz it have little effect. Tape it down couls be another more removable idea.
