you maybe talking about a 12N4P inrunner. in that case, you will be using distributed windings: http://www.tuning.powerditto.de/
choose "Mega 22-45-1,5E"

Above link is for 18N6P motor with distributed winding, which maybe a little bit difficiult.

Those will help to get you close in choosing a turn count for rewinding. The motor probably only had 5 or six turns of wire on, does that sound about right?

I assume this picture is a 0.5T winding. by the way, i dont think the picture shows the right winding scheme for 12N4P, i mean the label "start and end" is wrong. Please refer to powercroco's maga motor. Link is in my previous reply.

As Greg pointed out, the 12N4P should be using concentrated winding scheme, which the powercroco site only shows distributed winding scheme. Concentrated winding for 12N4P can have a winding factor of 1.
