The only thing that scares me badly is another 4 years of PBO and a Democratic Congerss... The only way Clinton won his first election to the White House was with help from Ross Perot, running as an independent... because he had an axe to grind... Don't be duped into voting for a third candidate... which will turn out to actually be a vote for Dumbo... regardless of the rhetoric and semantics they throw out...

I suspect Ross Perot would have been President were it not for his out again, in again maneuver ....which I also suspect was intentional.

Not really relevant to the actual topic of the post... That third party thing will drag too many conservative and centrist voters away from the Republican Nominee... that's what I would hate to see happen.

He did very well in the popular vote for an independent. His goal was to get Bush defeated for a second term, and he duped many into voting for him, even though he really wasn't seeking the office. Those that voted for him, (and I'm ashamed to admit that I include myself), were actually wasting their votes. I was a fan of his when he went to Iran to get his employees... but after this stunt, I wouldn't p on him if he was on fire... unless I could p gasoline...

Clinton was extrtemely lucky, because he was able to ride the Reagan policies that were put in place and the economy soared... and Clinton took credit...

Depends on the candidate and their specific voter draw.
While the effects of any particular 3rd P candidate will be quibbled over and politiced to death I and many others believe Nader was the critical factor in the election of W Bush over Gore.....
