Wow that extreme is awesome. I wonder how the opus or blade would have done in the same conditions? So tempted to give Mclean a call and place an order.

i tell ya from watching them go at it... it looked darn fine around that speed!
turn the volume way up... you can really hear it!... lol.... almost no wind noise, an old headphone set's piece of foam took care of the wind noise... that whole clip is unedited... its amazing how long they can just stay in the back at those speeds without worrying if the plane is ok or not.... super cool... i was smart and didnt bring the opus... otherwise i would have tried and probably would have killed it trying david, when are you coming up for some of the action? wanna see a banana in the backside.... LOL!.... i mean the mini trinity DS'ing JOe |

Thanks Joe for taking the video shots!
I just got back into town and saw the video. Excellent job! I would love to get a uncompressed copy if that would be possible. That is some of the best DS footage that anyone has done of myself flying. It was a bizzare day with the DS starting of extremely turbulent with the shear ten feet off the ground. Was only able to get 193mph max and that was a lot of work. It was extremely rough! I had a aileron servo on my Blade that was starting to get a little slopy and then ended up stripping it in mid flight. Then right about the time you arrived around 1:00 it started to clean up and get fast. That was the first time I've been able to fly my Extreme in really fast conditions. It was so much fun!.Gave me a much needed dose of fast DS. I wish that the radar gun would have been working better and we could have got some more readings. I know that it wasn't WR speeds but I know I had some grooves going that would have given me a faster PB. That was way cool of you to drive up there and video tape the whole time without even flying! I love your newfound enthusiasm for DSng. You remind me of myself when I first started. Keep it up! Thanks again, Gary Legerton |
