Thanks for sharing! I'm really curious how this camera looks with an IR filter installed. I've been using the PZ0420 exclusively but ordered a Pixim Seawolf about a week ago. I considered the new Sony 800TVL Effio-V but passed because there weren't any reviews on it. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

Do you order the 600tvl sony super had II CCD camera or the pixim camera from Surveilzone?

settings of the EFFIO-V 800tvl WDR camera

Here's the current settings I use for the Effio-V cam. These might change as I try different settings, but for now it works well. If I find better settings I'll upload a new video.
Note that my Effio-V doesn't have IR filter. The stock cam from Surveilzone does come with IR filter and should have more vibrant colours by default. Thanks Johan

Wow, thanks for those settings.
I navigated through that LINK and is there a Plastic Camera Case
for that 38x38mm board?

Effio-v 800TVL WDR camera gets hot when it runs, not suitable to fit in a plastic case.
But you can use plastic case if you don't need the back rear cover.
Here is the plastic case:

and the metal case for the effio-v camera:

Ooh, thanks for the LINK on that Plastic Casing.
I would want the backing plate so that I can double servo tape
it to any flat section.....Its difficult to mount these board Cameras
without a Casing....

difficult? no way. It is easy to mount the board cameras than the cased ones. and with boards cameras, swapping out cams is made much much easier. Just an elastic band, bamboo and bit of soft foam. The foam acts like a mattress for all the uneven hardware on the back of the board cam. Camera better protected from hard landing/crash shock when uncased too because it is springy. Better air cooling. Maybe even a bit more aero than a square case, I dunno. Save the weight, go naked.

post 10. in the P&T unit, I used a piece of EPS and shaped it a bit to fit the back of the board cam

though lately I am liking the fpv with this cam on the front
