A properly set up delta doesn't need flaps as the wing itself acts like a flap One of the characteristics of a delta is the ability to land at a very high angle of attack, the wing itself causing a lot of drag. Some full size deltas use spoiler ahead of the trailing edge of the wing, to do just that, spoil the lift. To land you gradually pull back on the elev, adding throttle to control the decent rate. With enough back stick, with the nose high, and enough throttle on. you can fly quite stable at almost walking speed. Of course this depends on wing loading too.
