I have a few Balsa 3D profile planes but I bought a Hyperion sniper x EPP foam plane, my first foamie and first step in assembly is glueing two wing halves together. It states to use thin CA as spay activator, which I have, after applying glue & act it does not adhear whats so ever??? no melting or distortion what so ever??? just no sticking! whats up? it does not specify and certain type of ca, like foam safe or what not? can i use a 5 min epoxy? answers please! can't proceed with build I'm stuck at start! Thanks in advance...

Avoid using epoxy when possible, it adds a lot of weight. Unnecessary weight is the last thing you want on a 3D plane.
My choices of glue for Epp plane are welder glue and foam-tac. If you insists on using Ca glue, Medium one is probably better than thin Ca glue to join wing halves. Regular Ca glue is safe to be used on Epp foam.

What type of CA are you using? Foam safe CA does not work on EPP, if you want to use CA, you should use regular CA with kicker, medium would probably be best as epphobby says, but personally I would use UHU Por (or Welders if you are in the US.
Don't use regular CA on the tailplane though, as far as I remember, it is made of Depron.

Yes but is it regular or foam-safe?

Try wiping down the glue joints with some rubbing alcohol to clean them up before applying the CA.

Don't know what is going on for sure, but I have built two Hacker super zooms and used regular thin ca for most glue joints and it has worked fine. One of them has been beat to death literally and all glue joints are still intact. Also, used thin ca on control horns and they have never let go. I did use welders on the fuse stiffners on the first one, but on second used ca there also.

sorry for posting in such frustration. I finally got it uner control. The CA with spray acellerator works fine, just needed a spare set of hands on the wing halves. turned out nice! bad weather today tho no maiden
