You are thinking of the JR 11X Zero which actuall does have a serial module connection. The XG11 is a dedicated DMSS 2.4GHz radio.

Anylink plugs into the trainer port if I'm not mistaken. I think that's what Pippin meant.

I'm surprised there isn't much discussion about the DMSS in the USA.
Just found out this news today....

The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited (3 min 48 sec)


With that said, it appears that the new JR radios are module based.
I hope a fully funtional DSMX module is going to appear in the near future at a price point no more than $100.

I don't think the XG6 or XG8 are module based at all. Not sure about the XG11. JR is producing DMSS modules to convert their earlier high end module based radios though. I have been flying the XG7 for the last year and absolutely love it and have a XG8 on order as well.The XG7 is not module based either.

Only comments I've seen on that say no DSMX modules are planned so I wouldn't make any plans based on needing such a module.
