My New Project: Travel *LED* Lumberjack
Here's a few pics of my latest project.
It's going with me to Canada tomorrow. LJ60 travel version. I copied the DOM world slope traveller idea to be able to break down into two halves. I did a custom LED setup with 30 LEDs. Should be good and bright.  Andrew |

Port is left (Starboard is right ). Thus, left is RED. |

Actually I think I got this one correct with red on the left wing panel. Some of the LED pics are with the plane inverted.

Yeah info, I bought one, but it only has 5 LEDs. I'm wondering if with 30 it needs, or is safer, with a seperate battery. I'm assuming so, 30 lights at 40mah would be 1200mah just for the lights! I suppose th LJ can take a huge Rx pack like a 3300 cell and it wouldn't be a problem but I'd like to see how Andrew did it.

Oh... sorry... I'm just always willing to put in a shameless plug for Andrew so that he doesn't have to. LOL... good question: andrew, what you got in there? Lead Acid deep cycle battery?

 I know Andrew's travelling but I would love to see his setup as I don't think 5 lights is going to be enough for me to keep track of a plane after dark. His LJ is big but I think I could get another batt into a Bee size wing no problem if that's what it takes.
