GWS Naro servos OK for Cox Micro P40?
Getting ready to start building a P40 and am wondering if the GWS Std Naro servos are OK to use in this plane. I've seen a good deal on a flight pack with the following: 2 Naro Std, ICS-300, R-6NII/V/F
Anyone used these to build a Cox micro warbird?

I have not used Naros in a Cox - but I have built 3 Cox warbirds - they are very weight sensitive, and pretty cramped inside. I use Naros in one of my Slowsticks, and I think they are too big/heavy for the Cox planes.
It is difficult to mount the servos far enough forward to get some of the Cox planes to balance - most of them require mounting the servos just aft of the wing saddle - I think using the Naro servos would just make the plane more likely to be tail-heavy - and that is a big no-no with the Cox planes.
You would be much better off with something in the 4 gram range.
the Naros weigh 8.8 grams.
Try something like this: 4.3g micro servo
Just my $0.02...
