WW II Military PBY
My father was a PBY flight instructor in Pesecola during the war. I would like to build a close scale replica of the plane he likely flew. I'm planning to have it be electric powered.
Any recommendations regarding plans and reference materials for finish etc would be appreciated.
Outerzone has four plans free for download: http://www.outerzone.co.uk/search/re...=pby&Submit=Go
I have a copy of the 80" span version that you can have if you are interested as I will never build this version. PM me if you are interested.
Ivan Pettigrew has a very successful version of the PBY in two different sizes, both electric powered. Do some surfing around this thread and you will find info/pictures/videos of his PBY: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=710485
I have been collecting data on the PBY for years. If there is anything else you need, please ask.
