I'm with you, Aaron. I liked my clipped wing, but I prefer the looks of the full wing version a lot more.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more Im leaning towards keeping the wing span as the designer intended. It should still be aerobatic. I will build it strong enough, yet keep it light.

No reason you can't be two wings. One full span and one clipped. Actually I was thinking of building another wing for my Tcraft and building it full span. It would be much cooler on floats if it was full span.

Yep, and I could always build another set later, after flying it for a year or 2.

Got a 1/12th scale F8F Bearcat on the board now, T-craft is up next in the que.

Let the building begin

Started in the stab. Mostly 3/8 balsa. Looks like some 1/16 ply reinforces the stab TE. Not noted on plans ...

Balsa dust is flying. It's good to be building a large scale again

Looking good, do you use wood glue for all joints? I would like to build a Tcart in the future.

No mostly CA. But I did use wood glue for the laminated stab TE. The core is 1/8" balsa faced with 1/16" ply in each side. Makes a very strong yet light TE

I will be using Robart hinge points. From experience you need lots of balsa for the hingea to bite into

Steve,
Subscribed; Recieved these plans a couple months ago. In the build cue, but a couple to finish before I get to this one. You'll be flying yours most likely before I start, but I'll be watching with intrest!!
