Actually this insect isn't new but this is the first time it hoover with good stability and controlability

this particular model is new, but the work they have been doing has been around for a while, 10 years according to the site.

Derk you are right !
Sorry for my mistake.
The new model's wings are powered by two independent (mechanically) piezo actuators , the old one was with one common power actuator and two independent(mechanically) wings' amplitude control smaller actuators
