SoCalSlopeRacing's Preseason Session*** An Introdution To F3F***
The season nears. You may be rusty. You may be a new guy wanting to get into slope racing. You may have new gear you want to try out on the track. You may be looking for ideas to move you up the leaderboard. This is for you!
SoCalSlopeRacing's first event for 2013 is an "introduction to, or get acquainted with" slope racing, F3F style.
I am Warren Day, and I will be your host. This gathering will be at Pt. Fermin, in San Pedro. I will have the F3F course set up, and operating. I will be set up early, and will be spending time discussing the full parameter of F3F racing, from the basics of how the scoring works, how the course gets set up, and how to make better scores. This gathering is for anybody wishing to try F3F racing. All you need is an AMA card, and a plane you can land safely.
I know there are a few guys that have missed a season or two (or more!), get back out here and have some fun. For you new (newer) guys, I want to show you that a F3F race is a simple way to have intense fun. You do not need a $2500 plane to have fun, or to do well. I want you to be prepared for the upcoming season, and when its your turn, you have a good gameplan that you can execute. This adds up to fun. This is what it is about.
The date is the weekend of Feb 23rd or 24th, whichever has conditions for us to fly. I will keep posting with regards to that.
Now including March 2nd & 3rd. same time-noon both days.
This for you guys, and its FREE!
Warren Day
