Transportation method for planes?

I have a '92 Chevy S10 Longbox pickup truck with a tunneau cover that I use to transport all my planes to the field with. It's kind of a hassle to have everything spread out through the bed of my pickup and finding spots to put stuff when I leave the field, so I would like to have some sort of organization system. I was thinking of building some wooden frames to place on the inside walls of the box all the way around with pegs on them to hold wings. I'd have 3 spots behind the cab and 1 on each side above the wheel wells. There isn't much space between the top of the box and the top of the wheel well. And then I'd put all my tools in between the wheel wells and place the fuselages in the spot between the tail gate and wheel wells and on the other side between them and the cab. Does this sound alright? Ive gotten measurements and Drawn up some plans and I'm waiting to get a second opinion. It all works on paper but that dosn't always turn out that way in reality. Any help is appreciated or constructive advice, or even a whole new idea.

Get some 1" pvc pipe, glue, some T joints and some pipe insulation for padding and use your imagination.

PVC pipe or tubing with foam tube insulators and duct tape. Works great.

Van, three planes fit in the back, four takes some thought. Wings on the sides and fuses in the center.
When I was flying IMAA I could get a 68 inch bipe and a 66 inch bipe with all my field gear and camping gear in there without taking the bipes apart, it wasn't easy but I would have enough in there for a four day event!
