Could someone please post pictures of how they have attached the spats to u/c legs. I have done this several ways in the past but just want to see how others have done it on this model. I have limited building facilities for this model so nothing too complex please!

I usually use a small wedge of EPP Chris. Cut a slot in one side and attach it to the carbon with normal cyno, then fix the spat to the wedge with POR.

Hey guys ,

I'm liking the Disney . Just wondering what your thoughts were on a vpp system mounted mid ship like Donata's Arrow V3 would be ?

The fuse looks like it would house the system quite nicely

Nice idea but the milling on the wing and fuselage means there would be no strength left in the area where you cut away for the prop slot and motor mount.

Sadly you are correct ! With the kitted Plane But, The Kit could be bashed .
Building new unmilled parts .

Or you could just do what i did . Redraw the parts and cut a new one without the milling in the critical areas .
Leaving the milling where wanted

I could supply a picture or two ?

Very doable . I submit this photo as what is possible.
I cut 2 of these weeks ago, one is finished and flying but she is not so pretty anymore . so no pictures of that ship

The 6mm epp pars aren't in this photo .

this links to a video of the Disney-XL
http://airtoimedia.nl/web/upload/vdVechten/DiSneyXL.wmv

The Disney in this video was build with exceptional light weight material, but unfortunately this material can not be obtained anymore.

Disney-XL is now cut from standard DepronAero and weight ready to fly will be around 100grams
