A-10 Plans/Kit
I am about to attempt my first scratch build, and I need A-10 plans to do this. The plane should be mainly built of balsa and common parts (as I have no foam or fiberglass production capability) and have a wingspan of 20-40 inches. Also, if the plan is available with a short or full kit, that would be even better. Thanks to anyone who helps.

Google "Dave Rees A-10 Warthog" and you'll see a result from Flying Models magazine or Carstens Plan Service. Dave's design is 29" span for twin ducted fans. It was designed for free flight, but I'll bet it could be easily converted to R/C. Plans are $10 from Carstens.

Or you could scratch build one, if it doesn't have to be a perfect scale copy.
59.5" span, (well 60" would just be showing off  ). Tractor props, not fans.Sorry no plans were created, I made it up as I went along.

I have a set of Chis Gold A-10 plans. 62.5" wingspan.
Willing to sell it if you are interested. I decided to design my own plans so I no longer plan on building this one. |
