Thanks Doc, I disregarded the book CG, placed the pack about an inch from spar, took off wing tips, and woke the sleepy 3D monster. It's an amazing flyer!
I love the color scheme, I wish EF offered it in big brother, err I should say big brothers now.

I went back out again. I'm really loving how violent it is. My Edge is slow mo, compared to how twisted up the MXS can get!

The tips are sort of like training wheels. They look cool but they kind of make the plane a little too stable. I have recently started flying them again on my 64" yellow Zonker and have come to like them a little better. It was just a matter of changing my snap timing a little and now it's pretty good. It's still more violent without them, but they look so cool I want to leave them on, at least for now.

Once again, my pilot was the limiting factor!

I just wanted to say thanks to Propchief!! He sent me a set of control rods and ball links for a used MXS I purchased. The MXS had e-z connects and z bends which had a little slop in them.

Thanks again!

Check it out, I don't know if I'll be able to tell any difference or not between this and the Xoar, but I swapped it for the coolness factor. Just looks sick on the MXS!

Very nice! I have a great CF cone that would go great with that prop. I'll post a pick later.

I'm sad to report I wasted my money on the Falcon propeller. It looks nice, but it doesn't stack up to the Xoar electric prop.
I took the MXS out this morning with the Falcon propeller on. I didn't bench test, I just wanted to see how it performed. I honestly thought I was going to have a big grin on the first flight, but I didn't. I ran three pack through it and it didn't have the speed, or pull out power the Xoar did. I was rather surprised since i noticed better performance on my TH profile planes going from a GWS to Gemfan carbon fiber prop.

When I came home I weighed the propellers. To my surprise they both weighed exactly the same, 20g.
so on to the static test. I used a fully charged TP 4S 2700 740c pack.

Falcon: 44a and 666w
Xoar: 44a and 720w

Why the difference, I don't know, but I do know the Xoar performs better in the air.

Thanks for the report! I'm still using an apc 12x6 only EF48" but I have a Xoar to try out.
