+1 on the Glacier batteries! I have three 4S 4000 mAh Glacier batteries. They perform as well as my Gens Ace batteries.

Added benefits of the Glacier batteries:

1) T Plug (Deans compatible) is preinstalled.
2) Removable AB clip to protect the balance connector is preinstalled.

Definitely! The plane is pretty docile when you want it to but will 3D like mad when you want it to as well

I finally got two flights on mine sunday. This plane is amazing! I flew the maiden in 15mph winds and it was totally a non-event. I can't wait to fly her on a calm day.

I read what everyone else was using as I did not want to reinvent the wheel with this project. The power is stunning! I spend most of the flight at half throttle and only burned 2500mah after 6 mins.

Thanks to all for my repeated question answering. This plane is for sure a keeper.

Thanks for your flight report. I especially enjoyed reading that the 59 is at home in
15mph winds.

Flown Slick yesterday with Mortrofly 4315-714, Ice Lite 75 and XOAR 15x7 for the first time. Did 40 flights with APC 15x7 before this moment. Wow! There is huge difference between this props! I will never fly APC again. With XOAR it has much more speed and power and it's more predictable in hover, torqu roll and harrier. I was able to bring everything much closer to the ground. Ice Lite 75 withstood 1250W good. I measured peak 84A in static and 81A in flight. ESC was barely warm after flight.
Oh, forgot to mention, I've changed throttle response to high (8)

Awesome! Yes, changing throttle response is a must! Thas why I love the Castle's, as when set to 10, it's just so sharp. The Hacker ESC I tried once just felt mushy, haha!

Anyone have a link for the xoar prop? I can't seem to find it in stock anywhere.
