I had a striker motor lying around. 2200kV
I've seen it in action and was pretty impressed.
was going with pylon motor

but it might be little heavy.

Plan is to build it light, but I will use 2 aileron servos.

Will see.

anyone want to buy a brand new white kit? I just don't have the time for building anymore. I want $90 + actual shipping cost. ($10-$15). Yes, I posted in classifieds, but this is a niche market. If interested, I will repost a classified ad to reference a purchase + feedback.

Maidened my Cosmic Wind yesterday.

No issues, except that she does land pretty fast. Broke one gear strut off of fuselage. Repaired and reinforced attachment. Applied "flaperons" to slow decent.

Powered with a E-Flite 480, 9x6 prop, 30 amp esc, 4s 2200 30c. Followed recommended COG. Battery placement not a problem.

Surprisingly quiet through the air, due to the smooth surfaces. Much more "slippery" than my foam planes.

More to follow.

Got lazy myself and did not do the dual ailerons.. Wanted the flaperons .. You find success? Still lands fast? Did you land both deployed and not ? Difference?
