Yah, found out the Canadian Dollar Tree stores round here carry that cheap board, gonna be messing around trying out some old sheet balsa designs with it.

Big tech leap for me coming back this time is the electric motors, batteries that are available now and the 2.4Ghz gear and the affordable price of it and the micro servos etc.

I learned about foam construction first in the '63-'64 Aeromodeller annual, so that's not too strange. (About 2 decades after publication though, and foamies were common in the mags by then)
