RcAerodyne

I have been wondering why no stock at www.scaleflying.com for the past 5-6 months. sent them an email and here is the reply.

Really sorry for the delays in getting them back in stock.
Right now we have just finished up all the changes and updates.
This took us a bit longer than expected.
The 450's will be shipping to us in a few weeks.
The 700's, 500 and 550's will arrive to us in June
The new 600 pro will also arrive this summer.

Sincerely,
RC Aerodyne Support Team

The large heli section here has been moving at a snails pace past few months. But for those here that know of Rcareodyne know they have great customer service and a nice product to match...So after what looks to be a year of the no-show 550 model will be here this summer as well as updated heli's.
Looking forward to their 600 pro. And possible fbl 450

Thanks for the update. During my conversations with Robert over my Chaos 600E, I asked him about the 700-sized fuselage I have been drooling over for months. He confirmed what you said, which is that it should be back in stock some time in June. The only problem with that is I'm enjoying my Chaos 600 so much right now, that I may have to invest in another set of mechanics for the 700 fuselage. Sigh. It just never ends, does it?

Anyone else had trouble getting a hold of anyone at RCaerodyne lately? I ordered a 500 sized fuse from them a little over 5 weeks. Paid with Paypal and nothing ever since. After a month went by I started trying to contact them to see if I could get a tracking number so I could find out where it was; been trying for a week now with no luck. Went through their email as well as the customer service option offered on their website. I notified Paypal this morning about my difficulties. Was just wondering if this was a regular occurence with them? I have ordered from them before and never had an issue but I have always shipped to my US address in the past and this time I used my Canadian address. I am litteraly right above Washington State where they are located in British Columbia so it should have arrived with in two, three weeks tops even if customs had a play with it before moving it on to me.

I was able to get a hold of them on the phone, this is what they said....

After you called I poked around for a tracking number in our shipping department.

We received your package back from USPS this week.

They returned to us due to the package was damaged and some of the contents were missing.

Our system should of sent you a email notifying you of this situation.

In order for us to resolve this, we asked to have them expedited to us so we can send this to you asap.

Please confirm shipping address so I can get this out to you today. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Seems a bit odd that they say they got it back and then two lines down that they have requested it get sent back to them expedited so they can get it out to me. Honestly I think they just forgot about me and never sent it to begin with( why would they need my address again?). If that were the case I wish they would have just let me know, people make mistakes no big deal really. Not being able to get a hold of some one for a week is not so good though.

Smells a little fishy. Sounds like they are telling you a story to cover up a mistake and buy some time.

I've always had excellent service from them... I get Robert or Cliff on the phone and poof, problem is fixed. I've bought two fuselages and one heli from them and even though my Blackhawk build was frustrating, they helped me through it.

I have also purchased from them in the past with zero issues. That is a big reason I found this instance a bit puzzling. I am pretty sure some one just made a mistake some where along the way. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Once I was able to reach some one today it seemed to get the ball rolling again. Just a matter of hurry up and weight in the mean time while they ship me out a new one.

Deja sent you a pm...

Guys if you ever have any problems just pick up the phone and ask for Cliff or Rob. They will get you squared away. I have never had any problems when it came to service. You just have to pick up the phone....

As for the long delay on the kits I have been told that there has been some turbulent times at the factory. It seems as though the person who owned it and who was also seeing that all the requested changes were done passed away and the son took over. It was after the son took over that there was a breakdown in communications so I believe they were looking into a new place to produce the Chaos line. That was the rumor I heard and I will just call it a rumor because I have not had time to confirm it. The good news is RCAerodyne is going to start carrying the KDS Innova's and they rock.... I have 2 of them and love em...

Just wanted to add an update here... my fuse turned up yesterday after talking with some one on the phone at RCA and getting every thing straightned out was about a week to my door. Over all I am happy with my purchase and will use RCA again in the future.
