You may want to look into the new SU-35 purple 2200kv 6S motor Freewing just released for the SU-35 twin 70mm. That model is 2.7-3kg and with the same FW fan, and some are already saying they are getting 1:1 TWR; only its a twin counter rotating. They are doing well.... very well with a low amp draw. So they got the right motor for the fan. If you AUW is 1.5kg it may be worth looking over.

1.3 kilos AUW. The wing load would increase but the design floats as it is. He'll gain weight reinforcing the wings but can drop weight with a more current 100g 6S outrunner. He's in the ball park as ling as he's not adding any extras.
