Sorry to be so negative....but

<Sarcasm> Yay! Another awesomely unique, odd scale bike I won't be able to get tires for once the company gives up on it ! </Sarcasm>

-rskip <- still lamenting he didn't get enough time with his vmx while tires where readily available

Lol - it uses "standard" parts:

"X-Rider Cx3 uses any standard micro parts: 206mm micro body, standard aluminum stand, wheels and tires, micro metal chain, standard 2030 / brushless Motor, standard or 18A / ESC electronic, standard micro digital servo."

I think they meant standard electronic parts.

Regardless, It's nice to see a new bike. Hopefully the performance justifies the cost and the manufacturer supports it a very long time

Wow, lots copied designs on this one. The short swing arm will prove to be a problem with handling.
I love how my rider has been copied into two sizes now and they even keep using the same parting lines and everything!

Good luck, lets see some videos

Looks like a mixture of OTO and Venom Components.

For the rest I'm with rskip - another odd scale, without proper tire support.
To me, the working rear brake shows their design priority. "Make it go fast" was not on top..

I didn't check with the dimensions, but is it really 1/10? Or is it more likely 1/8?

I looked at the dimensions:

This bike,

Vehicle Specification:

Length: 206mm
Width: 54mm
Height: 100mm
Weight: 310g
Wheelbase: 145mm

This is what Horizon has listed for the GPV:
GENERAL
Length - 265mm
Width - 75mm w/o guide wires
Height - 190mm
Weight - 700g (approx)
Front Wheel - 57.5mm X 16.0mm
Rear Wheel - 62.5mm X 19.0mm
Front Tire - 17.0mm X 10.5mm X 57.5mm
Rear Tire - 23.0 mm X 12.5mm X 62.5mm
Wheelbase - adjustable, 182/185/188 standard/190/193 - Adjustment only with Race Chassis Kit

Just from the wheelbase, it looks smaller than 1/8th.

Seriously who would pay $600 USD for a 1/10 scale bike when you could buy KP or ZH kits? You could probably still pick up a SB5 kit some where cheaper still.

Thats mind blowing.

To produce such a small bike has the same costs, if not higher, than a similar quality 1/5th scale bike...

Really nice bike indeed!

Not sure I understand the purpose of a rear brake on an electric bike

Look on the bright side, at least all that graft and hard work isn't going to waste, and someone thought that the gpv was worth copying (ultimate flattery).

I'm not sure about that retail price though...

Or the scale. 1/10 seems a strange choice. Did they think Venom would sue for copyright if they just wholescale blagged it 1/8?

I think these are being made for racers in Asia. Their already racing small tracks with 8th.s mostly so this might just be a move in their direction..
