This week I posted a sizeable update about our 1 hour flight about a week ago. There you can read all about the flight and view the flight report with plots from our Arduplane autopilot. And as always you can view the videos from the flight as well.
I also posted and update about the drivetrain study perform during the winter semester. You can read the proposal and final report. Perhaps its less interesting than flight testing but informative nonetheless.
This next weekend we plan to fly our longest flight yet using solar energy. It happens to be summer solstice, so conditions should be ideal assuming the weather holds up. Please be on the lookout for an update about that next week.

Another subscription. Very cool work fellas! The more work done with solar, the cheaper the technology will become so the "rest of us" can afford to use it.

What is the actual take-off weight of the plane?
Battery weight seems to be around 2700grams.
