Just a heads up guys, the Edge 540QQ BNF Basic is selling for $99.99 new from HH. Plus with the Black Friday sale going on right now, you could get it for $85. I'm debating whether or not to get one for myself, it seems like a killer deal.....although I don't necessarily need it. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the tip -- ordered!

If anyone is doing the math, the ESC, four servos, motor, prop and extensions are all the same as used on the Viking.

In addition, the servos are not the same as, but can be used in the 180 CFX cyclic.

ESC = $28 ea
servo = $19.99 ea ( x 4pc = $79.96 sub)
motor = $37.99 ea
extensions = $2.79
prop = $3.49
AR6310 (this is non AS3x, but still a nice spare to have) $49.99

So, one way to look at the discounted purchase is a whole boat-load of spares at a discount, then a free airframe thrown in as well. That's the way I am looking at it, so as someone flying a VERY shop-worn 540qq now, it makes good sense to me.

Good point. Man, this is enticing. I can't bring myself to buy it just yet but I imagine I will kick myself later if I don't.
