Aurora Problem?

OK, I went to bind a new receiver today, and turned off the transmitter. When I turn it on the light above switch turns yellow/orange for a second or two, then solid red with a continuous beep, nothing on the screen. I can turn it off, back on, same thing. What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps turned off and on again to quickly - did not give time to properly save
data/initialise same as laptops and many other computerized devices.
Please refer to:

- A9 Auto Saves (flash) each session's programming & trim changes on shutdown.
Allow time to complete task before switching on again.

No, I have tried it several times, waited 30 minutes, tried again. Nothing. I unplugged battery, and plugged it back in. Also tried taking the module out and reseating it. Still nothing.

Sorry, should have noted previous post that the beep indicates battery may be to low.
Try recharging with either quick charger (or wall charger for at least 30 minutes) and try again.
If that still fails, refer direct to:

I took the battery out and it checked to 7.9v on a meter. I charged it for an hour or so, and same thing, constant beep. I took that battery(Eneloop) out and put the standard battery back in, and charged it for an hour, and nothing.

Looks like I might need service.
