yup, it's working, but I've made a ton of changes to the OSD code, so it's starting to stray a whole lot from what Dennis originally wrote. I ripped out a bunch of features that I didn't want or need and added some new ones of my own. Plus, I've totally re-written a lot of the code. Eventually, I might publish my version, but, for now, I'm still messing with it for personal use.

I finally got the rest of the parts in and soldered on
soon to load up and do a bench test
have to read again where and what goes on it lol , darn china shipping!

umm good question most of the parts I bought 100 of
the max and atmel was recycled from a storm or breeze osd

not sure how to load the code on it yet tho

I think I see another board laying with ISP connector soldered - thats how you should load the code into it. Unless you have soldered atmega with arduino bootloader already preloaded- in this case you can load the code via ftdi serial port.

So at least you need to solder ISP and load arduino bootloader and OSD code via some ISP programmer. Then you can unsolder ISP pins.


I have another question to you - where did you get the crystals for this board - I find them the most difficult to find. Can anyone point to any source where I can get them (ebay, aliexpress etc) ?
Mine boards are laying unsoldered because of lack of crystals ...

also I have a major driver issue with ftdi devices so ill have to find another pc to load with
when I installed some stm drivers it messed them up somehow
