That looks wonderful - and of course it would be much more interesting for a visitor to this exhibition to see at least some of the model in the uncovered state. Perhaps if you run out of time, just cover half of it? Like one of those cleverly sectioned model engines I remember from my youth.

sunday evening update...
the balsa bashing is complete... the construction of the airframe upto the point where i start with the iron on covering.. the underside of the hull and the tip floats are now glass clothed, sanded, and in white primer all the mountings and bracing wires are completed on the tip floats the wing tips require a final sanding and thats it! i even had time to junk the existing motor wiring and install (but not connect) the new still a good way off finished but almost ready for covering! ![]() ![]() ![]() David |
