vin fins rock! havnt flown this plane in a while, I just noticed how well this thing harriers inverted, awesome, look forward to some time on it tomorrow....

Hey guys I'm still lurking. Been busy as I was covering SEFF for Fly RC. Didn't get much time to fly there but I did get some cool shots of Joe flying the Edge's. Glad the clear SFG's are working well. I hope to get mine back out soon but first I need to switch it to my Futaba 8FG. Loving that radio since I picked it up a few months ago.

I had the Yak in the trailer...but flew everything else....except the Yak, 57, and 62....

Gonna have to give the Yak some time soon....

thanks H.D., that was my best invert i have ever done, not saying much....

Got 4 flights last night, vid for 2...

Here's one of them. Was pretty windy.

Whilst looking at the yak head-on hanging from the ceiling, looks like the wing has a little anhedral built-in.... is it just me, or my plane, or by design? Could explain some of the unique flying characteristics in rolls and fast precision flying.

Hey vin, have you ever considered making sfg's for planes where they bolt on the end, the clear look would be awesome.

It would not be hard to do them. In fact they would be easier as you would not have to worry about the fit of the tabs just the alignment of the mounting holes. Maybe I'll try to make a set for my 72" Extra SC and see how they go.

more low roller practice and sfg durability testing. the hot glue peels right off w/o ripping the covering, then reapply!

LOL ... just to make you feel better, I broke the landing gear one one side too! $15 + 10 in shipping, but I'll take that failure mode - the fuse is intact. It made a huge snap noise when it broke - I was expecting more damage.

I should have kept it closer-in ... that's rule #2, rule #1 being to stay higher when going downwind.

Just thinkin but some real good SFG prototypes could be made out of regular playing cards in about a half hour. Maybe use the jokers out of the deck?
