1400mm wingspan EPO Super Decathlon from ESR HOBBY

There is a new 1400mm wingspan 6ch & floatsable Super Decathlon show you.
It is a perfact sports plane and same as the classic color scheme.

Super Decathlons don't have flaps. And the windscreen is strangely bulged. I like the size of it, but there are just a ton of compromises in scale outline and finish.

Cubcrazy, I just came across this thread as I am considering one of these planes and I saw your comment about the Super Decathlon not having flaps and you are 100% correct. It looks to me like Volantex / Lanyu, the people who make this model have taken a Citabria airframe and put the Decathlon name on it. The Citabria and Decathlon are basically the same plane with the exception of the wing and of course, different engines and structural differences in the full scale. The Citabria has a flat bottom wing and the Decathlon a symmetrical wing. Also there was a model of the Citabria that did have flaps, model 7GCBC produced in 1964. I'm going to order one of these models but being a scale buff I will leave the supplied, Decathlon decals off and call it what it is, a Citabria lol.
