Brushless Motor Maintenance

One thing good about brushless motors is their very low maintenance. But from time to time it's good to take them apart and do some maintaining and cleaning.

I know this is a walk in the park for most, but some people are still a little intimidated by the thought of disassembling an expensive motor. I put together a walk-through with pictures to help.

Looks good.Only thing missing imho is a tutorial on removing/replacing the bearings.I know in the Novak motors they use press fit and thread lock to hold the bearing in place and it takes a fair amount of heat and physical effort to remove them.
