Cheers Jeff, that's good to hear that I'm on the right track with the front wheel. When trying to take off on damp longish grass with stock setup, the front wheel just dug in. You could see the wheel marks in the grass, and restricted the model from getting g enough speed to take off. Hoping the mod will help!

Is this like the largest number of posts regarding a foamy park flyer or what?! Can't remember the last time I posted anything on this forum. Glad to see the interest is still going for this plane! Thought I would share that after flying the PZ T-28 for over three years, it is still one of my favorite planes! Here's my latest incarnation...

Had a small break in the appalling UK weather yesterday, so took the opportunity to try out the 80mm front wheel. Taking off in to wind went well, she was up within a few meters. Had a battle with the wind for 7 mins and then landed safely. So all good so far.

Was grounded by weather today so took the opportunity to expoxy a battery strap in place and tidy up wiring.

Just an amazing Saturday late morning in Central Florida! Kind of on the Chilly side for us warm blooded swap dwellers! However, we all came prepared with our Winter Clothes (Shorts, T-Shirts!)

Here is my buddy's, Gerry (simano) pictures showing my Continuous Knife Edge flight with my Park Zone T-28D "Airforce" Trojan all around the field.

Camera: Pentax K-X DSLR
Lens: Promaster 70-300mm, f4-5.6/w Tele-Macro Zoom.

Thank you for the kind words! I got the GoPro for Christmas and I really like editing the video and trying to line it up with the music. The software that GoPro has is amazing.

I'm rebuilding my Durafly Corsair now so hopefully I'll have something else to show in a couple of weeks.

Yes for me as well, and the construction equipment would most likely reach out for my T-28 too. Hehe

I just got around to maidening mine last Saturday and was stunned by the ease and poised flying enjoyment I had with it. Even though I have flaps I installed, I didn't use them at all.

Oh, I smacked that black post thing twice with my Durfaly Spitfire!!

The PK Trojan Trojan is rock solid in the sky, the stall characteristic is very docile. It's just lightly tips a wing, noses down and recovers itself in 5-6 feet. Not like other warbirds that will plummet to the ground on a tip stall. The T-28 is my everyday flyer, don't have to stress at all about wind or landings...

Here is my vid of my Spitfire smacking the pole along with some terrible landings and mishaps.

Here is some footage i edited together of my flights just before sunset in the last week. this footage was filmed with my mobius hat cam, so is a bit grainy due to the low light. this plane is such a joy to fly, and since i removed the safe receiver that was in it and put a AR600 in it it has been my favourite plane.

Parkzone T28 Sunset Flights (2 min 39 sec)

Great video!

You're very good at those rudder turns and slow flight. I really struggle with the rudder. I have to really think about it to use it in flight.

Seems like all my flights are sunset flights because that's the only time the wind dies down in Texas!
