Question
F3B wiring

Howdy guys........
My brand new Millenium will be here in a few days . I bought the F3B build clinic. Is it really nessesary to wire the wing servos direct to the switch? I will be installing a Spektrum 6200 reciever, and a 6 volt battery. If I were to buy a Hoopes harness....Does it direct the wing servo power wires to the switch? My soldering skills arent the best. Thanx Davo

what switch? is there some special thing you have to do with spektrum. I would just wire up the loom like normal. i.e the servos get the power via the RX. unless i am missing something.

The video recommends you wire the wing servos directly off the battery and only connect the signal wire to the receiver. That way you bypass running your wing servo power thru the receiver. It doesnt matter the Brand of rec. they were using a JR I believe. Davo

The direct wire scheme I show in the DVD is a nice simple way to save on wire and power the digital servos direct from the battery.

You can run most set ups off of the receiver if you wish, thru a switch.

Either way works.
