Well... there are plenty of 1:16 WWII figures available, but I don't know of any generic or commercial figures that could be easily converted to boat crew.

1/18? Where do they come up with these oddball scales?

Other goofy scales come to mind, do they just want to be exclusive---?

1/72 became a standard aircraft spotting scale in WW-II
1/36 (1/35, !/32) is twice that size
1/18 is twice that size. That's where it comes from

Cyclops2,

I found this small version of GI Joe on ebay it is 3 3/4 inches tall. My Lord Nelson Victory Tug is 1/16 scale.

All the radio controlled scale truck manufacturers in Europe do 1/16 scale. Look up Wedico and from there you will probably also find other links. Some of those companies will probably have accessories you can use.

I went nuts trying to find 1/10 people for my PTB.
Then I ordered all crew men to be SHORT !!

Startre humans crew did the trick at a Fla Market. They also had a bunch of Aussie commandos. Shanghighed them for $1 each.
