Read my post again, you read it while I was editing. - First attempt was wrong.

The place we need to be is half way between arrows 1 & 2 in you edited drawing.

The picture from the documentation sure helped while reading!

One question about calibration I don't get.
From the documentation:
"To calibrate the TX AUX1 for 1500us, apply subtrim to AUX1 (with 3P switch in middle position for example) until you are at the point 25% of the difference between 4 flashes and no flashes, that is effectively zero stabilization in RATE mode."

When using zero subtrim on my DX8 it all seems to work fine.
Can you give an example about this "25% of the difference"?

I can tell you what I see, from zero subtrim and upwards it starts flashing 4 times at +46.
Going down from this number it gives no flashes at +17.
Having a hard time with this, I would say set subtrim to +31.5 (exactly in between) and call it a day.
However this "25% of the difference" is bugging me.

Edit: Have to read your reply, you are quick! I added a picture. Can you tell me where I hit +17 and +46 ? (1,2 or 3 arrow.)

All clear now.
I was measuring between arrows 2 and 3.
Divide in two and subtract that from arrow 2.
Makes it perfect at the magic number 1500, in between arrow 1 and 2.

Guess the documentation needs some work here.
Thanks for your time John!

Yes, I will try to update the documentation tomorrow.

one of the reasons I believe I progressed with my flying is because I don't really care if its windy (mainly because of ofs)... if you feel relaxed while you fly and you practice with every occasion then you will get better..
