Zagi Elevon/Aileron Question
I've never flown a plane with elevons before and right now I'm in the process of finishing up a Zagi. My servos and rx are installed and I'm trying to set up my Flash 5 tx for the plane.
The elevons are working OK. In other words, when I push down on the stick, both elevons come up and vice versa.
But when I push the stick to the right the right aileron comes up AND the left one goes down. Is this correct?
Sorry for what is probably a very basic question, but all of my other planes are rudder/elevator only and I just want to be sure.
Just to confirm... You said
"The elevons are working OK. In other words, when I push down on the stick, both elevons come up and vice versa. "
I try not to think of the stick as pushing up or down... More like in a full scale airplane of pulling back or pushing forward. I'm sure you've got it right but when you pull back (towards the base of the TX, the elevons go up and when you push forward (towards the antannae) the elevons go down.
It sound like you're ready to roll.
Have fun, (Its nearly indestructible)
