Striker F-27Q with GOPRO3 flight issues
I have a GOPRO3 mounted on a striker F-27Q and am having some problems.
I was wondering who else has been doing this with success? How did you set the camera up?
I have the camera right above the recommended CG. First flight went fine. Second flight was a total failure. No change made to the striker at all. Just pulled the battery and charged it between fights. During the 2nd flight I could not get the plane to level out. It acted very tail heavy. Below are links to the flights. Any thoughts would be very helpful.
Here is a pic of the setup. I secure the camera with Zip Ties

yes, its 100% because the camera is up on the tail.
The CG is not everything. The wind force on the camera according to your mounting picture is *huge*. It will fly, but it wont fly well.
you will need to put it at the front and deal with the battery so that the cg is mostly ok. make sure it's more or less aerodynamic ;-)
