RC supply shops in Korea:

AnyRC: http://anyrc.com/ mostly in Korean language and difficult to find physically, but has good LiPo batteries.

Mirage Club: http://www.mirageclub.co.kr/main.htm The owner of this club speaks English and is a really nice guy who is very active in all forms of soaring. He offers European gliders in Korea.

JK Flight: http://www.jkflight.com/ Mr. Kim makes his own EPP planes. I now fly his Zenith and Spitfire. His plane kits are highly finished and he too is an active flyer on the slopes.

Hobbytek: http://www.hobbytek.co.kr/ This is a self-proclaimed greatest hobby supplier site in Korea. They carry Estarmodels, small electric models as well as a host of other hobby items beyond R/C.

Another approach to finding good hobbyshops is to go through web sites of R/C enthusiasts. One that I have participated actively in the past is Korean RC Groups at http://rcgroups.co.kr/portal.php This site is rather cumbersome to use but gliders and slope soarers congregate here.

An older and maybe more thrifty group of flyers belong to a group called Xevious Club at http://www.xeviousclub.com/ Mr. Kim of JK Flight is active in this group.

Hello guys,

I am an RC hobbyist from Philippines. I specifically own electric cars from Tamiya. I am now at Tomgi hotel (near jongno 3 station), Seoul and i would like to ask for your help in finding the nearest hobby shop from my hotel. I am leaving tomorrow afternoon so I still have time in the morning to look for some hobby shop/s here and at least buy some accessories for my cars. Please do give me the right directions.

thank you

daxbrandy,

Since your time is short, contact any sources provided by Correa above and ask for information you need.

Ulsan Korea

Hi Folks,
I just moved to Ulsan Korea from California. I'm working at the Hyundai shipyard (HHI). Feel free to contact me if anyone is flying around here or knows of any flying sites or hobby stores around here.
Thanks, Rob

Anyoungahsayo, I'm in in Songtan which is about 1 hour south of Seoul. I found one hobby shop that mainly caters to glow helicopters and I have not found a formal flying field. I just fly on the parade ground on Osan (K-55) Air Force Base.

I am too working in HHi, offshore division.
I am an heli beginner, just starting on Trex and HDX 500 on my own.
I know two shops in Ulsan, selling a few RC parts, one near the train station is also fabricating gliders.
If I need to buy something urgent, I use www.falconshop.co.kr, I think they are in Busan.
