Yep, but they have gyros. The one I ordered was w/o one - I already have one to install, should I decide to go that route.

I just got back from E-jets, what a blast!!!

I promise I haven't flaked on the video, it took 34 hours to get back, we had 2 blow outs on the RV (one on the front!) and one blow out on the trailer (total 3!) just on the trip back, it was the trip from hell! I'm just getting caught up on work and will try and get video up ASAP...

Hello there,

my distributor (guys, if you read this: thank you!) just informed me that they will exchange my stock 45A ESCs for two new 80A ESCs for free. They will also exchange the gyro.

However, this is a one-off very-nice-to-the-customer solution, not a general SebArt or distributor policy. So the general questions are still open:

• Are the 45A ESCs are a wrong design choice?
• Does SebArt accept this?

PS: My personal answer to the first questions is: Of course the 45A ESCs are a wrong choice. We will see how it all plays out in the end, if and how SebArt reacts, and how other distributors react.

Henrik; so glad to hear of your resolution and am hopeful that SebArt will back up their distributor's decision to send you higher rated ESC's and a functioning gyro.

Gives me more confidence moving forward with this decision...

I just put my first couple flights on the Mig,and all i can say is " Sabastiano should be nothing short of embarrassed to have his name on this plane" Maybe another 20 trim flights and i will feel different,but those will not fix how HOT everything gets in this bird,even flying mellow.....It has been over 20 minutes since it has been flown,and i can smell it in my living room.

Can you give particulars?

• mAH & C-rating battery?
• What controller did you use? Did you program the 3 flight modes?
• What was your throttle range? If you went WOT, how long did you hold it?

Did you have a failure in flight? Did you by chance take a video?

#1- 4000mah 40C,they are brand new,so i did not even take the plane to full throttle,i tend to be easy on my lipos for the first couple times i use them....I just wanted to do some trim flights-and get the feel of it.#2-I use an 11X,and i did my programming to the exact T of the manuel (except the Ail,i dialed mine back a bit due to the fact all the vids from china looked to be to much throw-mainly on the low rate,and after flying it-i am glad i did.#3-if you set the throttle curve to the manuel-you have alot of power in the 1/2 throttle range,i kept the plane in the glide to 1/2 range for most of the flights-i was just trying to get the nose from pitching straight up when the throttle was pulled back to off,and then when the throttle was applied.The first time i went to unplug the Deans-i pretty much burned my finger tips when i touched the wires off the ESC,s,i then proceeded to do the same thing when i checked the heat of the ESC,s.....HOT.I should have brought my Temp gun with me.I will go out again tomorrow and get three more flights after work and see if a can't get this thing to fly right.

No failure...and i never vid first flights,always to buisy feeling out a plane for the first 6 to 10 flights.....I am kind off a nut about focusing on tweeking tell it is the best i can get them-then fly to poop out of them.
