djdavies 83, mystman gave a good link for the green props but you are not in US. I recieved two sets with my v202 and haven't looked for spares. I have had good results spray painting props - on my gw 9958. But it is a different plastic, I think. Just go where they sell V202s and look for parts.

Nothing wrong with lashing the booms to your platform... Some spiderwire with a drop of CA or epoxy over it is probably better than the common metallic fasteners!

hey good thinking, I'll try to glue them on the opposite side once this frame is broken. so far it's quite resistant to crash so I'm happy.
I'm sure ppl have tried this before but how do you mount the 808 on your ladybird/939? I mean in terms of weight and stuff, do you just take off the casing? can the 808 be plug into one of the two open ports on the ladybird board?

thanks
Nguyen

Damn you Banggood. My order with the spare parts I need to be able to fly again has been stuck at "Flytexpress" now since 8/1. I wonder what is going on.

Here is my first attempt. Sad to say, but it did not really fly at all . I think it is just too heavy at 46g all up weight. It tries to take off when I give it full throttle, but I don't think there is enough power to keep it level and straight. It spins off and dives to one side. I'm using the 7mm motors with the short 1mm shaft, so I think they have enough power. Also, I'm using a 600Mah single cell battery. You can't tell from the pictures, but under the foam is a basswood stick frame, that is where the weight is coming from. I'll make another frame here soon that's much lighter.

Gotta look at the brite side, DT...

That basswood stick and long, wide foam booms have kept you from crashing it!

:-)

Can't wait to see your V2 !

Does it dive in the direction on the orange blades?

I could be wrong but it looks like you orange blades are in the wrong position so it's pushing down on that side, leave the black blades as they are and try and swap the orange blades with each other.

Swap your two orange bladed motors (do not take blades off orange motors).

See my black and white motors are diagonal from each other and your are on the same side (rear)?

Look at the angle of my X4 blades and the arrows on the V929 PCB.

Along the centre line of the craft the inner blade edges of the left/right motors should be the same angle (look at how the light is shining on my blades).

Your flying weight is a little a little heavy but it should take off, my X4 flew for 5 mins at this weightName: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359395418.692113.jpg

Ok this IS what you need to do...

step one.
Attachment 5488792
Swap blades only.

Step two.
Attachment 5488439
Swap these motors and their plug positions but keep the blades where they are, this will give you diagonal pairs of motors and rotation, if the blades spin the wrong will will have to swap around the wires for that motor.

a friend has built a diy quad using that board and it flies very nice. be aware it only works with the stock tx though. not 9x or any other quad radio. in fact the tx is not even compatible with his brothers mjx.

to DT...

my complaint about the foam is that it is obviously blocking 25% of the motor thrust.
rc

well, maybe less than 25%, but quite a bit...

The foam underneath may not affect thrust as much as you may think, as long as the air can flow around it. Coanda effect!
