Beginner Question

thx Paul for your Answer.

Code:
Otherwise i would pullout a 5V pin from one ESC and connect it to this BEC Pin, this would be a quite sensefull config.
Thats is.

It would be easier if there were a circuit diagram and not only the layout of the board.
Looks like it would you publish it?
It can be difficult to trace the circuit lines on the black material.
I would therefore like the pin that's looked into the void (BEC pin) lead.

Serial interface on the display I have 5V, GND and RX. RX tentatively associated with TX and RX on the Flyduino, its same effect.

In the multiwii code when you arm then the motors spin at what ever you set minimum throttle to, if you want the motors to stop then look for these lines and un-comment as shown I have mine this way because I dont like the motors spinning all the time

/* motors will not spin when the throttle command is in low position
this is an alternative method to stop immediately the motors */
#define MOTOR_STOP

@Gaza07,
thx, I've also tested and it is a possibility.
But I will try to take this opportunity once more thing.

/ * this is the value for the ESCs when thay are not armed
in some cases, this value must be lowered down to 900 for some specific ESCs * /
# define MINCOMMAND 1000

/ * this is the maximum value for the ESCs at full power
this value can be Increased up to 2000 * /
# define MAXTHROTTLE 1850

If you scroll further down the sketch you will find the motor stop just un comment it and the motors will stop at zero throttle

I was not able to test anything GPS related, because I don't know how to set the pos_hold, I'm going to try to go outside today to test the B8+ firmware, but the weather is very bad! damn rain!

On thing I also want is the Camera outputs working for my Gimbal, but I hope Oleg is working on that as we speak

One thing.
I ordered another batch of the Flyduino, this time the 2.0 version.
It will have a slight change in the serials, thats it.
I want to hear your opinion of allready presoldered Pinheaders on it.
I will choose the straight versions for most of them, 3 row angled ones are very expensive.
But what you guys think.
Its good to have presoldered straight pins, or will you more like the freedom of chossing it by yourself?

I think they would be fine supplied with no pins soldered in, also im not a big fan of the angled ones

Although my eyesight isnt as good as it used to be i still prefere to solder my own pinheaders, but i can see some people would like the presoldered option so how about giving the choice of either way. As far as angled headers are concerned, i have tryed them and they do reduce hight but at the cost of spreading sideways a bit, i certainly dont think they are worth the extra cost though.

Just my 2P's worth

Ray

Your 2P´s are worth a lot Ray.

Yes i also like the option of offering both, but will have sort out a bit how much i will oder with pinheaders and how much without.
