Wow. That sucks. I think both you and Kenny have shown me I really don't want to get a small heli. It just seems like if you breath on them wrong, they break.

Why don't you replace it with a Gaui 425. Just $80 for the basic kit. More if you get it in a combo. It only requires 2 3S 3000 or 3300 mah batteries to fly. It will also take 6S batteries. Your 6S 3300 battery might work. Crash costs are low, in fact, I consider it one of the cheapest 500 sized helis to own. Not as cheap as the HKs of course, but the parts quality is such that you don't have to consider upgrading parts just to get a reliably running heli. That's what I've read anyway. There's good support for it on Helifreak.

Don't know where you're headed, but it's something to consider.

I think I'm just going to focus on the two larger heli's that I currently have. We'll see how it goes from there.

I plan on changing one of the larger heli's to flybarless, with that change and trying to get into other areas of the hobby, funds are running out for this little guy.

Heh. You and me both. I need to work with the helis I've got now. Try and determine if any are really any good for F3C type flying. If not, then my next purchase will be for one that is good for it. Otherwise, I think I'm done for a while.

Swift NX updates

Notice anything missing???

New RJX flybarless head mechanics are installed. I need to get the Skookum SK720 unit installed next. I have also traded my motor for a lower Kv 890 instead of 1100. I have some new pinions coming as well, so I can get a decent head speed and have more teeth engaged on the main gear.

I'll be sure to let you know, and plan on doing it when you're available to shoot some video. I'm still waiting on the pinions for the swapped motor (which came today). I have been out of town all weekend for a DLG event in CO, so no work done on installing electronics.

I'll keep posting my progress.

How is your fleet?

Heh. You may not believe it, but again I missed a part. Just ordered MIK2383 Sunday evening. It should arrive Wednesday, so I think I'll have the Logo up Thursday. I have all the parts for the 600e and hope to be flying it on Wednesday.

Well I'm sure it'll be good to get them back in the air again. Let me know when you head out on Wednesday, I may be able to swing by.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who's trying flybarless at the moment on here, I'd be happy to test it out for you.
