Ok....Easily made 58" Edge SFG's. The original ones seem to be made of Liteply, which unless you are going to have them laser cut, would be a bit more difficult to make. I can do a drawing of them, but as this is a product that I believe 3DHS would normally sell. I would be infringing on their design.

So....as noted, the center piece will be made from 1/8" Liteply, and the frame from 1/8"X1/2" hard balsa. As you see, the front hole is in the balsa area, so make sure you harden that area with CA glue.

Unfortunately, the .pdf file comes out too large to be saved here, but you can PM me with your email address and I will most happily send it to you.

Once you get the .pdf file, you can print it onto full sheet stick on label material, ans use it as a template to cut your pieces. Make sure that you set your printer to print at full size (I.E. not to enlarge or reduce) You may also be able to do this with the .jpeg file, but I have never had good luck getting .jpeg files to print at the correct size. If you do just want to try to scale the .jpeg file, then the over-all length of the SFG is 7.75"

Ignore the vertical line on the right hand side, it was just a reference line that I forgot to erase...

More than welcome! The delivery was certainly a lot quicker than I thought, haha!

successful madien today plus one more flt. Wow this airplane has some elevator authority. My setup is motrofly 3620-464, apc15 x 8, cc ice 100, and bec pro, skylipo 2650's (2ea for 6s) did battery shelf mod and gear mod. ADC vinly turned out cool. Will try to post pics if I can figure it out.

Sounds good. I'm running the EF Torque 4016T/500 Mk-II, Xoar 16x8, Sky 4000's, 5S. This plane would make a good pylon racer Great speed for precision, but slows down nicely for in close 3D. 7:30 minute flight times of mixed speed precision and post stall 3D, and the 5S pack comes down at 3.88 volts per cell. I'm liking it

Damn that's awesome! Only way we get no customs is if it comes from within the EU... Otherwise then BAM, your next day delivery turns into a month delivery, haha!

hey 3delta i fly at HMRC ocassionaly, live in Maryville, so BCMA is regular flying field. Like wide openness at house but Blount co is 5 min from house.

Yea and we added another 50 ft to it. It does seem winder up on the hill though and you do get good at crosswind landings. Come down sometime

Finished up my Edge today..... balanced perfectly with the A50-14XS and 5S 4000mAH packs with the back end of the battery right at the end of the back of the motor box. These packs might be a bit heavy for some, but as I am not an accomplished 3D Pilot, they will do until I can get some 3600's or something like that. Right now I have a Xoar 15X8 on it, but may try a Xoar 16X7, both of these props are the sizes of props suggested by Aero-Model (though they actually suggested APC)....so we'll see....
