Walkera V450D01
OK the Flybarless series big brother is coming soon, and here is a thread in which to talk about it.
First up a video of it in action...three pilots give it a try in a cramped park in China? Pilot #2 cannot fly it, but the other two seem to have no troubles...

Here is the product info sheet from Walkera.

Sounds like russian and looks like it too or some derivitive therof. Cant wait for this to hit the states, as im sure many others have been waiting for a cheap flybarless 3 axis 450 heli. Or at least the rx, Id be happy with just a full size 2801 pro rx that I can put on a 450 that I already own
 Walkera RX's are usually no more than 50.00, and that would be a real treat.

Walkera HM V450D01 Helicopter with 2801 pro $379 from Helipal
Looks like they fixed the tail servo issue by using an aluminum case servo for cooling? Anyone know what servo it first came with? I've sent a note to Helipal asking if they'll be selling a BNF version. |

I heard that BNF version will be here in about 3 weeks... Now only RTF versions are available.
Looks cool, I'm keen to get the receiver and make a FBL 250, should save a lot on the gyro...

Butter Baby!
Just got my v450d01 last night. Charged up the battery,adjusted my throttle curves,trimmed it,and now it flies sweeeet!!! Flies freaking stable.I highly recommend this heli!

Hi guys,
I just got my v450d01 yesterday and I broke it today! LOL... First problem was the gyro - it is acting weird... The second is the servo... Anybody knows an upgraded version of these parts? They are all out of stock by the way... It is my 3rd helicopter and I am pretty much still brand new to this hobby... I have flown helicopters for around 3 months... Please advice on how to handle my situation. Thanks! |
