Who's brave enough to put their money where there mouth is?

I have a $100 wager with one of my blathering liberal friends on this election.
Two weeks ago he wanted to double it to $200 bucks. Being the compassionate individual I am I wouldn't feel right cheating him like that so I declined the offer. He left, laughing & boasting how chicken I was and what a loser Romney will be.

Two days ago (post-debate) he came by the shop sheepishly saying "your boy is making a comeback".
I replied, "He was never out of the lead".

So I tried to change our wager up a bit by offering him a points spread on the out come. No longer was there any doubt Romney would win, but by how much?
I offered him any of these odds:
55-45
54-46
53-47
52-48
51-49

He wouldn't take it.

Yesterday he comes by again.
I offer him a different bet. My $500 to his $300.
Romney wins, I get $300. Obammy wins he get $500.

He still wouldn't bite. That's confidence, huh?
He said he would let me know the night before the election.

...I was still laughing as he walked out the door.

Any of you guys making book on this election with you buddies?

I just don't know why you're messing with chicken feed man!

You've just posted on another one, that you've got the money

You've posted how confident you are of the outcome

You've claimed to be a betting man

Why not lay down a hundred grand - you can't lose

Or can you

If your mouth is as dirty as your mind that shouldn't be a problem.

Wow, you certainly go to a lot of trouble to insult liberals. Of course, if it was about money, you would have taken my advice and bought shares from Intrade for $2.27 each on Sept. 28. If Romney wins, you would receive $10 each for the shares. Invested the $500, bought 220 shares and made $1700 in 40 days.

But it is not too late! Shares just closed at $3.70 each, this means you can buy 135 shares with your $500. If Romney wins you would get $1350, or a profit of $850 in just 25 days.

I'm sure there's no offense meant because it's not about insulting, it's about shaming.
The Liberal positions are so out there whacky that the people who have convinced themselves to believe them need to be given proper doses of shame until they finally get de-programmed and come to their senses.
Then it will be all laughs and giggles again.

As far as betting goes, recall that Obama bet $5 Trillion of OUR money, not his, and drove the economy into a deeper hole than it was.
Your guy lost the bet, and unfortunately, we taxpayers are going to be ponying up and paying for it for many years and in many ways.

$5 Trillion? What are you talking about? The entire budge for four years?

The people who have decided to buy into focusing on Obama as the sole cause of problems in the US are the ones who are either delusional or being hoodwinked. They have bought into the blame game. I am sure there are many reasons behind why people are susceptible to this illusion, but there is only one reason it is being sold to them.
